NOTES
Wind Waves and Walleye
Lake Erie
Colin and Crew were rescheduled from late 2023 due to high winds and waves.
We head west of the Islands at sunrise knowing we would be eventually be greated with a line of showers that would last about 2 hours. The back side of the rain had wind that quickly went above 20 mph with stronger gusts.
The Walleye were awesome to Colin, Jeremy, Bob and Sam.
Off Shore Tackle Company boards running Bandit Lures and Dead Eye Crank Baits at 65 back unassisted and 55 back with 2 oz snap weights.
Colin captured his 1st Fish Ohio qualifier a 28.5" Walleye.
Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons 32 back.
Speed was 2.0 mph the best we could in the surges.
