David has been fishing the Lake Erie Islands for over 35 years, starting from his childhood days with his father. He learned to fish in small streams and ponds and gradually progressed to targeting walleye, the most prized fish in the lake. He also participated in fishing tournaments, where he honed his skills and techniques to adapt to any situation.

David is proficient in various fishing methods, such as bait casting, trolling, jigging, driftboat fishing, and light tackle. He can teach you how to use these techniques to catch more fish and have more fun on the water. He can also show you the best spots and times to fish, depending on the season and the weather. He knows where the fish are hiding and how to lure them out.

Step aboard the ‘Abaco,' a 26 ft Scout equipped with top-of-the-line Raymarine electronics, GPS, and radar. This sportfish has a fully enclosed helm which offers protection from wind, rain, and sun making for maximum comfort on your fishing trip. The captain will provide all equipment and required gear (included in the price). Lake Erie is home to a wide variety of fish species, but the most popular draw is our trophy walleye. There is also the possibility to catch yellow perch and smallmouth bass if that excites you.
