Lake Erie is renowned for its Walleye, with Fish Ohio category Walleye commonly reaching over 28" and weighing in at an impressive 9 to 13 pounds. In the coming years, you can expect the average Walleye size to be between 18" and 24". Your adventure will take you to both open waters and the hidden reef structures in shallow and deep waters. While Walleye are the stars of the show, you can also target Yellow Perch and Smallmouth Bass, making your trip even more diverse and exciting. Birthday Walleye 

BlackH2oDog Charters 2nd group was a birthday trip for Brandon, arranged by his girlfriend.  Brandon brought along his stepfather Charlie and his uncle Brian.

We had a short window of opportunity on this 4 hour outing.

We headed between the islands and found great marks immediately on our Raymarine Axiom.  A quick fire set of instructions on using the Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards and we soon had our boards and Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s working.

The outer board with a Bandit 50 back took a nice 24" Walleye.  Soon another came on TruTrip 50 32 back with a SB Reaper.

Then nothing... So with 2 hrs to go we made a big move west. This time the  boards went out quickly and we had    a steady pick of Walleye for the next 2 hours.
